Updating information and promoting your Community Group

* How to list your Community Group on this website

To include your group in the Buninyong Community Groups Directory, contact the Buninyong Community Website Group by email or through the Buninyong Visitor Information Centre.

The different options for your groups' entry are explained below.

* How to promote your group on this website

There are several ways of advertising your organisation on this website.

• Basic listing: Your group's name and basic contact details. This listing is offered free to all local community groups and does not include live links.
  No cost.
  
  
• Enhanced listing: Your group's entry can be printed in bold type to make it stand out. You can also have clickable links added to your listing if your organisation has its own email and/or website. See Buninet example Cost: 0ne-off fee of $25, including one free updating per year
  
  
• Extended listing For more impact, you can add a short paragraph to the free listing with your organisation's logo and/or a picture and clickable links. See Buninyong Information Centre example Cost: 0ne-off fee of $50, including one free updating per year
  
  
• Boxed display advertisement To really draw attention to your group, in addition to the free listing, you can have up to a half-page full-colour boxed advertisement with your organisation's logo and/or a picture and clickable links. See Historical Society example Cost: 0ne-off fee of $75-$100, depending on size, including one free updating per year
  
  
• Full-page entries For maximum information display, you can have one or more pages on this website dedicated solely to your group with more extensive information and illustrations. Advertising fees are payable by cheque, direct debit or cash to the: Buninyong Joint Library Trust Inc. All income is managed by the Buninyong Community Website Group and goes towards the costs of operating and maintaining the website. Any surplus will be used at the discretion of the Buninyong Joint Library Trust Inc. for the benefit of the Buninyong community.

* How to keep your group's information accurate and up-to-date on this website

It is up to each organisation listed on the website to monitor the accuracy of its own information and to let the Community Website Group know in writing whenever any changes need to be made.

For basic, enhanced and extended listings only, email your updated information to the Buninyong Community Website Group or send it by mail or by hand to the Buninyong Community Website, c/- Buninyong Information Centre, 408 Warrenheip St, Buninyong.

Alternatively, changes can be quickly and easily made through an online form

For changes to boxed display advertisements or longer articles, please email the Buninyong Website Group or contact us c/- the Buninyong Information Centre, 408 Warrenheip St, Buninyong.

Please note that all requests for new or changed information must be in writing. There is no fee for this service for community groups, unless more than one change is requested per calendar year. The minimum fee for additional changes in the one year is $20.

Your group can use this website to display lots of information, eg:

• dates and times of special activities, competitions or meetings
• the services or facilities you offer
• photos of members doing interesting things
• contact details
• current Committee members
• minutes of meetings
• notices to members
• advertisements to attract new members
• ... all sorts of possibilities!

If you like, you can have information about your group password-protected so that only members of your organisation can see it.
