Buninyong hosts a range of popular events for cultural, foodie and sporting enthusiasts. As well as its regular monthly markets and annual festivals, big crowds gather in August and January to watch top-class cycling tournaments. Other interesting events, such as the Writers' Festival, are occasionally held here too.
Buninyong Film Festival
Held on the first weekend in May, in the Buninyong Town Hall.
An annual feast of fine films interspersed with yummy food. See them on the big screen!

Buninyong Good Life Festival to replace Gold King Festival
The Festival Committee has announced that a new festival called the Buninyong Good Life Festival will be held annually on the 3rd weekend in October, starting on October 16 2011, to replace the former Gold King Festival.
